IN LOVE

Sidney Ann Bell
Born May 7th at 2:34 pm
7 lbs. 11 oz. 20 1/2 in.

We are so IN LOVE with our sweet Sidney.  I went in to the hospital at 7 am.  The pitocin was started at 8:15.  The contractions started out slow and easy.  By 11:30 I figured I had given the contractions a good run and asked for the epidural, it was really starting to hurt.  I was a 6 1/2 when they checked me after the epidural.  When the nurse checked me again at 2:15 and told me I was at a 10 I was in shock (I was induced with Andrew and it still took 12 hours so I was expecting a long delivery).  They called the doctor, he came, I pushed and our beautiful Sidney Ann arrived into this world.  Her warm body was placed on mine and I just looked at her little scrunched face and listened to her beautiful cry, in awe that she was finally here and that she was ours.  Kinnie wants to hold her as much as she can.  She is surprised at how much babies eat.  Andrew wants to give her lots of kisses.  He is so sweet with her and likes to show her his toys.  Landon's mom got here the day before Sidney was born and stayed until Friday.  My mom got here the day after she left and leaves today.  It has been such a blessing to have the extra help.  I really don't know how I would have done it without them!

End of April

Content
This is what Andrew does when Kinnie is at preschool.  He is very imaginative with his toys and can sit and play for a long time.

Brave
Andrew still likes to pretend to be Batman.  And he still runs around saying "I Batman!" as he fights off the mean guys.  He was very excited to find Batman jammies in his Easter basket.

Proud
Kinnie's dance recital was a big success.  She was so proud of herself.  It is so fun to watch your timid, shy, quiet child be so excited to get up on stage.  She danced her little heart out with her friends, and when it was all over she said she wished she could do it again.

Scared
We went to the pond to see if the goose eggs had hatched.  We took a lot of bread to feed the ducks and the geese.  Well, as we walked down the path a few geese saw our bag of bread and immediately started walking towards us.  I hurried and got some bread out for us to feed them and about 30 geese charged straight towards us honking and flapping.  The kids were terrified (I was too) but we just kept feeding them and the geese finished off our half loaf of bread in about 3 minutes.  I am glad we survived...

(a little happier now that we weren't being surrounded by geese)

Done
Landon is done with his junior year!  It was a rough year, lots of classes and tests to take.  We have heard that senior year is awesome, we will see if it holds true.  We have heard from multiple people that once you are a senior the professors treat you better and trust you more.  I can't believe that we only have one more year, the time has gone by so quickly.

Big
I am 39 weeks tomorrow.  I am big.  I don't even fit into maternity clothes that I wore with my first pregnancy.  I am ready to have this baby.  We all are!  I can't believe how close it FINALLY is...and yet it seems like I couldn't wait another day.
